Mission: To provide opportunities for girls to become interested in girls hockey and to provide girls playing hockey with a positive and encouraging environment that allows them to develop to the level that they choose.

Tryout Dates for U12, U14 and U16:

Tuesday June 12th 6:30pm, to 7:50 pm

&

Wednesday June 13th 6:00pm - 7:20pm

 

Tryouts for U19 and makeup date for other age groups

Thursday June 14th, 6:30pm - 7:50pm

At Suburban Ice East Lansing

Levels of Play for girls in Michigan

The range of play for girls in Michigan is broken down into 3 classifications: Tier 1, Tier 2 competitive and Tier 2 house/recreational. Each classification then has age group divisions.

Tier 1  is the highest level of competitive play for girls. This classification includes U12, U14, U16 and U19 age range teams.

Tier 2 competitive classification is the intermediate level of play for girls. These teams can include the following age groups; U10, U12,U14, U16 and U19.

Tier 2 House/Recrecational classification is the introductory level of girls hockey focused on skill development. This classification could include U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19.
